Steering wheel upgrade??

I checked the forum and didn't see any previous posts about this, but here is one for you mechanics out there... .

As we all know, the steering wheel controls on the '11 HDs are less than desirable, especially the cruise control. Is it possible to put a '12 steering wheel into my '11?

I understand the voice command was not on the '11 steering wheel but is on the '12, but I assume it would just not be functional which is fine.

Any insight or knowledge to the possibility is welcome.

Sounds like an expensive proposition! A new wheel can't be cheap!

So I can get a '12 steering wheel for $125. Does anyone know if the connections are compatible??

This is what I found online... . http://www.dodgetruckparts.net/2011-dodge-ram-2500-parts.html Says with leather w/o heater. The link says 2011 but the web page is showing 2012 so I hope thats a good sign.
Now if I can just find out if the connections for 2011 and 2012 are the same I'll try the swap, but I wanted to avoid calling a dealer.

Make sure connections work *and* that the airbag transfers over to the new steering wheel also.
