2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission steering

Guy's when I am going down the highway I am alway's steering to the left, When I let go of the steering wheel the truck drifts to the right. is this just a need for a front end alignment or what are your thought's Don

swap your front tires side to side if it still pulls to right get an alignment. if it goes left you have a tire pull. ken

its a Dodge Ram thing. My truck has a factory installed . 8*right thrust angle. The front axle is . 8* from parallel with back axle, it equates to pulls right. Tight factory welding tolerances YEA RIGHT #@$%!

A friends Ram turned out to have the REAR axel mis aligned. A truck alignment shop spoted the problem and solved it for him. Could it be your rear axel??

Non adjustable balls joints

Our ball joints are non adjustable can't remember if it is cross camber or caster. But adjustable ball joints were finally installed on my truck after a year of alignments by my crappy dealer, and that was the problem. Hope yours is an easier fix. The pull to the right seems to be a common problem and I know of many others that needed this fix. Of course you will get many opinions such as mine but that's why we are all here. Could just be the road...

Remember that roads are built to drain water to either side, and if the road is more than about 6 or 8 years old, the condition can be worse. My truck always pulls SLIGHTLY left, especially on county roads. Just something to consider.
