2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission steering

I have a 1998 4x4 and it started turning hard to the right. The truck has 240000 miles

You need to throw some more info in there. Do you mean when you steer to the right the steering is hard? Is the truck moving or is it stopped? While driving is it pulling to the right when braking or pulling to the right on its own?
