Whats every one using as far as step bars? Ive finally decide I need a set. I always like the looks of the trucks a little better without them, but I have decided that I dont want to wear my seat out getting in and out of the truck.

I have the Dodge chrome step bars. They are only a little more than aftermarket versions (all of the chrome ones are overpriced anyway) and they have the rams head on the step pads. Easy to install and they are holding up well.

I have some westin bars on my truck, I have pics in my gallery.

I like them, and so does my GF. she can get in my truck alot easier now :D

I bought new chrome quad cab nerfs on ebay for $170. 00 with shipping. The user ID was nerfbardirect. They were very very good quality. They were as good or better than the Westins I had on my ford. Easy to install as well. Just go to ebay and type in "ram nerf" and lots of them will come up.

amp research steps, they are a bit expensive but you cant see them when they are up.

This is what I'll be going with soon. Full length running boards that disappear- nice! :)

I've got the Putco "Boss Bars", they are a 4 inch all stainless steel. Not cheap but the big bars look nice on a big truck.

I have the Tech Tubes. However, after over a year the drivers side bracket let go on me with all my weight on it. I crashed my right knee into the door sill and drove the knee cap up. I just came from the orthopeadic surgeon and I have a torn cartilage, possible partial tear in the patella tendon and damage to the back of the knee cap. I contacted Tech Tubes and I also found that the one bracket was faulty, in the metal... something that Tech Tubes would not have caught... They are sending me new brackets. This is not to bash them but a heads up to keep an eye on the brackets as I probably would have caught this if I was checking. Now I am booked for a knee scope... right in the middle of my plans for competing in strongman this year. Perhaps this mishap will help others to avoid this kind of trauma.

I've got the exact same things. I love them.

I was afraid to get them thinking they might be flimsy, kind of like the first dropping single step, but not these. Just awesome!

(edit) The Amp product on mine are the full cab length for all four cab doors.

I won't have another truck without them!

Spend the extra coin!

Onki nerf boards! I really like these, they look like a nerf BAR but have a top plate like a running board to offer protection to the rocker panel from rocks and such. I would like to post a pic but still having troubles with that. But goto there web site and see them. www.onkicorp.com

Check these out!!!!!

I'm getting ready to buy these. Saw a guy w/ a CTD at the gym the other day and ask where he got his nerf bars. I had never seen ones like these and had to get a pair. http://www.n-fab.com/products.nerfsteps.asp

Mine are comin' soon. I would like them in stainless, but I still need to call and find out the specs.

Good luck w/ the decision

XL wheel to wheel polished stainless nerf bars.

They have three steps with kick-outs for the dually fenders in the back. I weigh 230 and they don't budge no matter where I stand.

I just put the Kodiak steps that Geno's carries on mine. I really like them. They were easy to install and are rated to 350 pounds. You can see them a little, but they tuck up fairly well. I didn't want something that would hang down while on dirt roads during hunting season. Since I only have two doors, the AMP Research ones weren't an option, plus the cost.

I have chrome plated stainless DeeZee Bars and really like them. The fit and finish is nice.

I would buy them again if going that kind of bar however now that I ran across the AMP Research product I might have to pull them off for those.

I don't car for the look of bars that hang down low and the ones that fit more close to the body are kinda awkward to use because you end up being too high on the step and have to then duck into the cab. Also I like to look of no bar at all and I only have the ones I do for the step. This all makes the AMP Research product interesting to me.

I would like to find someone that has them in an area that snows, I wonder if the linkage might freeze.
