2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Step side bed

This is the first one of these I've seen. Must be some kind of conversion. It was in the parking lot where I work. I couldn't find the owner. I thought it was pretty cool.

It's probably off a mid 80s Chevy stepside. If you get a chance to check one out you'll see what I mean.

I believe the ones I saw were fiberglass.

Yep the Chevy beds are fiberglas or actually plastic. Check out the Chevy on eBay. Look familiar?

Similar but not the same. The steps were not as deep and the body moldings matched the Dodge cab. It also has the Dodge taillights. I imagine it's some kind of aftermarket bed kit specifically for the Dodge. I found out who owns it. I'll try to find out what it is. Whatever it is, I still think it's pretty nifty.

I believe you're right. It's probably a bolt on fender kit to put on a Chevy bed. Looks pretty cool that's for sure.
