Stepping down

I will be stepping down as the GLTDR president, recent inactivity of the club and financial issues with the so called treasurer I will be wiping my hands clean before the issue gets any worse.

Anyone interested can take it over. I put forth the effort and finances to keep gltdr.com up and running but with no activity it will be closed.

caution wtfd6 has $300-400 in club money but wont divulge the exact amount. Im guessing its been spent.

That’s a lie and you know it Mark! Ian and I (Charles) the old president asked you a number of times in pm's for the account # and how much was in there. You’re just making excuses now about this and trying to buy time. Thats all we ask prove it the date the account opened and how much is in there to date and we'll drop it but we all know you can't.



There is a lot to be cautious over with you!! You ripped off the members here and never gave any of the funds to Ian to keep the forum running that we worked for! It's you that needs to step down and hand over the funds to Steve St. #@$%!

I was a GLTDR member a few years back, when it was alot of fun. With some great members like doctinker, redneckdoc, billybob, a. fisher and other great individuals.



I dropped my membership for personal reasons and have been thinking of joining again. With dirt bags like this treasurer, I will not rejoin at this time though.



If you guys wanted to pursue this, and have the resources to do so, you could press charges as this is a crime. File suit for all money owed plus attorney fees.

I was thinking about taking over as president again to get to the bottom of this matter. I would also like to get a vote to get him out of being the treasurer. :-{} He's the one that has done nothing to get this going but he had the time to getting his own web site going



So I will if no one else cares I will take over as president and get to the bottom of this and if I can't then yes I will look into pressing charges if possible. I will try to get in contact with the old members and see what else has happened. I may need help doing this so any help is appreciated

Thanks guys,
With the club, its tough to run a event with the high fuel costs and spread of members for a event. With the poor attendance at IRP the past year and that drama a lot of people wont be attending. Also with the economic situation of the state it seems a lot of guys are not frequenting the site as they did in the past... Im not sure if they havent renewed membership or just choose not to.

As far as the money its hard to track, no real "bank statement" or tax information to follow in order to get the total or FIND for that matter.

Chuck, Thanks for the offer! maybe down the road we could combine but for now well get some stability and any issues ironed out.

The website will run its route until it expires, I've canned most of the information. GLTDR It never did have the activity that I thought it was going to have like the first GLTDR site that some of us remember.

Thanks Chaz! Youre the new president as long as nobody has a complaint about this. I wish you the best of luck in your adventures! Ill be here to help in any way.

That's what I would expect coming from someone that took the funds to spend on his own needs. You could clear your name by just doing what Ian asked and I asked. Your back pedaling and the people that know me and Ian know were not the ones that are (turds) Your very intelligent... .

How are we messing with you? I simply wanted to know the status of the funds and got the run around. You did offer to pay for the site dues and what I have into it but that still does not answer my initial question. Im chalking up the website money as a loss, Id rather cancel it than hand over work from myself and Mike ******'s efforts & time in this situation.

As far as a riff between us I assumed things were fine and you choose to beat around the bush answering my one simple question. The outcome was in your hands.

Boy you really are inelegant aren’t you. I was the main instigator?? Look at how it started before you pop off at the mouth. Ian posted about dropping the president lead and why then you came right in behind him and said what you said. I didn’t start this I’m just stating the facts here so Ian doesn’t look like the bad guy. It was you that caused this mess don’t blame it on anyone else!! Things could have been just fine if you would have just done what he asked about the money in the first place. It was you that put you in this position not us and if you call this messing with you then fine be it. We just wanted to get to the bottom of it and put the money were it needs be!!!



I am sorry to all the members here and visitors that had to see this. I only want what’s best for GLTDR and our members. The only reason I stepped down as president was I took a job for TMC trucking over the road. I knew I wouldn't have time but things have changed and I’m back to see what we can get done now. I would like to see GLTDR up and running because we still have members here that don’t visit other Cummins forums.

wtfd6 has said he will send me the remaining funds. When I receive them I will forward them onto whoever is the new leadership of the chapter. We are going to close this thread since both sides of the story have been told here and hopefully it will all be resolved soon. If you wish to start a thread for who is going to run the chapter from here forward please do.
