What is everyone switching to on stereo's? What brands are working and what size and type of speakers are you using. Thanks

I've got a Clarion VRX935VD waiting to go in. Probably more than what's needed by 99% of the people here, but I like Clarion. For my doors I'm switching to 6. 5" because of the difficulty in finding 6x9 components (MB Quart is the only one I know making a 6x9 component). I'm using factory size 5. 25" in the rear. All components, subs and amp are JL Audio.

I have a kenwood head unit that folds up when the truck is off, looks like the deck is gone. I replaced factory speakers with rockford fosgate 6x9s and 5. 25 in the rear. Powering with a 1000 watt soundstream amp. also have the kenwood sirius unit which is the best part of the whole system. Adding a sub box for bass and another Soundstream amp to drive it. Heres the link to the sub box, it replaces the center consol. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5711971393&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT I have pictures posted.

i have always used crutchfield and have been extremely happy. tell them what you want and they will sent it to you... great customer service as well.

I've got a Kenwood deck. If I did it again I'd get pioneer. I have 2 alpine amps, 2 10'' infinity subs, and 2 pioneer 6x9 door speakers. The rear speakers are just sitting there unplugged. I didn't notice any difference with them or without.
