I dont know how stupid this is going to sound but I have a realistic question.

Has anyone here put a set of subs in the actual bed?

I know it sounds so kid like or whatever, but the reason I ask is this

I have a set of 15" subwoofers, 3 amps etc lots of stuff I bought when I used to own a jeep.

I dont want them going to waste so the only option is to either put them in the bed some how (obviously with a cover) or put them in my quad cab, by removing the seats, but that seems like a waste.

I know most people would suggest selling them, but you dont get much for used stereo equipment no matter how good it is

so any suggestions or comments, I am all ears

thanks

Niro,

You can mount the amps on the backwall behind the seat. I don't understand the whole 15's in the bed. IT is a waste of the bed if you put them there and a waste of the cab if you put them in there. Out of the two I would go with the cab option as the back seat is only good for groceries, baby seat, black lab. That way you still have the utility. You could build a custom box that would extend to the rear of the front seats and have the subs downfiring tilted somewhat towards the rear wall. This would give you the volume you need and some utility for the back seat. Just my . 02. I personally am running a JL Audio 12" stealth box. You can still use the seat and the look is very clean. You just lose the cup holders for the rear passengers. Amp mounts to back wall with cap and you are done. Still have the under rear seat storage area too.
