I just recently purchased a Sterling 10. 5 for my 01 Cummins and I would like to find a conversion kit so that the lug pattern is no longer metric. Just wondering if anybody has any idea where to find one? Has anyone else used this axle for pulling in there cummins?

Seen several break!!

Pinion shaft will break or housing will break spot welds & rotate up to the buttom of your bed and take your shaft with it! Find a D80!

I was originally looking for an 80 but I was having a hard time finding one for under 1500 around my area. I came accross the 10. 5 and the price was right and I figured it would be stronger than my 70. Everybody I know with a "Found on road Dead" has had good luck with them so far and they beat on them pretty hard. What do you the axle will spin. I shouldnt have that problem cause I run a 4 link rear. Thanks for the input.

IN my experence the 10. 5s do have some problems with the ring and pinions, they aren't as strong as a 70, however the 10. 25 are suppost to be stronger than a 70. I have been running one for a while and haven't had any problems, but my fueling is mild.
