Sterling grilles

Does anyone know if the Sterling Bullet grilles ever came in a "work truck" grade black plastic instead of chrome? Our local dealer cant do anything with out a serial number, so are of little help. Collecting parts for the facelift and was hoping to get a paintable grille. TIA

I have never seen a black one.

Thanks Mike, I guess if I get one I'll have to get it wrapped instead of painted. From what I've rear the "STERLING" letters come off of the grille quite easily, anyone know if thats true?
