Stick can't handle the power???? Plenty of guys are running stupid levels with a stick - but they change the clutch.

But if you need to change to an auto, you can go 2 ways:

47RH 1994-1995 non-electronic governor and you'll use switches and solenoids to control TC & OD lockup.

47RE 1996-up (2nd gens) electronic governor. You'll need a TPS on the throttle, PCM from an auto truck and probably a wiring harness.

You'll probably find quite a few members that will want to swap with you.

edit: I see you changed the clutch.

I did it a couple of months ago. ATS has a electronic setup for the RE trannys. This is needed so that you don't have to change the wiring harness and the PCM. TPS is easy, so that isn't too much of a concern. I went the RH route. I had to get a different input shaft for my tranfer case so that i could keep the same one. I have a floor mounted dimmer switch for my TC lockup and i have a toggle switch for my overdrive. You will need to get a flexplate also. The column will needed to be changed out to one that has a shifter on it. Also you will need the linkage that goes from the column to the transmission. That stuff can probably be found at a wrecking yard. Another thing you have to do it change the lengths on both drive lines. The auto is a little long than the 4500. I think there are a couple of minor things that i have left out.

Depending on the trans set up you go with, and how resourcfull you are it will cost between 5,500 and 11,000. If you need any info just give us a call.
