Like someone else said, check out Dave Smith in Idaho. Go to their web site to get all the info and phone numbers. Because of the great economy due to our economically challenged President and his ideas, you should be able to buy any car or truck out there at invoice +/-$$. It's a buyers market out there. Good luck! BTW, they will screw you if you have a trade in, they're trying to get rid of cars/trucks, not take more on.

With out any political BS comments that do not belong on a pickup truck forum I will say that I got my truck from Dave Smith and it was pretty painless and a decent deal.

They have a base price that is at least 1500 below invoice to start with. They do force you to take their window tint (nicely done and worth it) and paint polishing?? but I still came out over $1100 below invoice after that. One of the best things is that their "DOC" fee is only $50 dollars vs every other dealerships $500+

They are pretty open and honest for a dealership and you do not have to haggle or play games to get the below invoice final price. They also gave me a little over KBB on my trade.

If you can get that kind of a deal close to home then jump on it for sure but if not give them a call. Their selection is also 20+ times what other dealers have in stock.

I think You should just move on . This dealer isn't ready to deal on this truck yet . They might get lucky and find the 58k they want . Or you might see that truck still sitting on their front line 6 months from now . The best deals right now are going to be all the 2010's still sitting on the lot. I bought my 06 in June of 07 . It was in a line in the back lot all had manager special paper in the window. No haggling 15,000 off msrp .

What I don't get is why getting rid of the 08 so soon ?Or are you part of the must have the newest latest thing no matter what crowd?

well high rate on the 08 and no warranty plus wife is going to be driving it more and we want a warr. plus I am working on building me a crewcab :)

You might want to check with CarMax. They sell new dodges from their Inglewood CA location. Didn't see any 3500's listed, but they had 2500's and might be able to get 3500's. I have traded with CarMax twice for used vehicles. The first time I took a little less for my used vehicle, but the second time (about a year ago) I got more than I could have sold it for myself.

My local dealer here in Southern NH wouldn't budge on the msrp and then ordered the truck that he thought that I should have. I canceled the order and wound up buying my new truck in Hickory, NC. The best part was when my wife went back into the local dealership to get an owners manual

Re-finance and purchase of an extended warranty would probably be a heck of a lot less than a new truck, if that's an option you and the wife would consider.

I was able to buy mine for just under 10k off of sticker price, the only things I dont have are the sun roof and rear entertainment. Also the add ons I wanted were cheaper to get some where other than the dealer.

dave smith motors - call ed west x1488

tell him manny sent you. i purchased my loaded '10 mega from ed. totally honest, very easy even though i was on the east coast. you will get the best price and the least amount of hassle from these folks. the dealership sells tons of dodges and has lots of pull with chrysler. ed can walk you through the process. even with $2000 in shipping to NY, (i flew out and drove it home), the price i got from ed west was far better than any order price on the east coast. i could not convince any east coast dealer that the truck i wanted was able to be built. 1 call to ed and i got my truck. nothing made me happier than showing the salesman at the servicing dealer, the fully loaded mega that couldn't be built.

Well Just got home from Bakersfield with the New truck we ended up going directly to dealer that had the truck and made the deal and drove it home Wooooooo Hooooooooooooooo

Yah Yah tomorrow it's dark outside as for first Impression's Wow what a difference in 3 yr's way quieter then my 08 was . As for Color we went with Rugged Brown and I have to say I like the color really well On the 08 there was major wind noise on the 11 99% better
