Sticking clutch
My clutch peddle is sticking on the last inch of the return of the clutch peddle back to the home position. It will return by itself in about 1 to 5 seconds. This started when my truck had about 13,000 miles old :{ and it is sporadic. I took my truck at 20,000 miles old to the Dodge Dealer. The mechanic that looked at it, of course could not reproduce this problem.
I brought the mechanic back to my truck and reproduced this issue for him,
and he immediately dismissed the problem and said there is nothing to worry about. #@$%! I insisted that he call corporate about this issue and log his new finding in the service log.
At this time I have not heard and news from the mechanic. I will be calling him today.
I would suspect this to be a bigger problem then the mechanic thinks, because the clutch is fully engaged at the end of the release of the pedal.
BREAKING NEWS: The mechanic just called, and said he has a new clutch for my truck. He said he called corporate and they said they have never heard of this problem, but suggested that he (the mechanic) do what ever it takes to make the customer happy. It’s good to know that there is still excellent customer service out there. :-laf
Thanks everyone for listening, and if this is happing a lot to other Dodge Ram truck owners, could someone please suggest what we should do to make Corporate aware of this issue?
