sticking gauge needles (autometer sport comp)

When first fired up, the needle on my autometer sport comp boost (0-35psi) guage stays on 0 until I give it a pretty good amount of go peddle, then it behaves normally. Have any of you guys experienced this? Is it abnormal? Does it get worse? If it's something to be concerned about, is it covered by any warranty?(the gauges are about 8 months old)

Its totally normal, you have to really get on it to make the boost needle move. There is nothing wrong with the gauge, its just the way the ISB is.

I have the same gauge problem. First thing it will stay on 0 PSI then all of a sudden let loose and jumps to 8-10 PSI. After that it usually operates normal sweeping from 0-10 PSI. Mine sometimes does it running down the interstate. I think it maybe moisture or something in the line sealing it. I haven't had time to pull the fitting ang check.



On another note does your Pyro sometimes fog?

I had an auto meter 30"Hg to 30 psi gage and it worked great... . there was no hint of sticking at zero psi. after some bombing it did start to stick... this is because I broke it by pushing it out of range (38 psi). Now I have a 2-50 psi ISSPRO gage
