Hi all,
My 03' CTD will sometimes stick at a high idle (~1000 RPMs). It mainly does it when I'm pulling into my driveway and slowing to a stop, or when slowing down to an intersection. It just won't idle down sometimes. I tried blipping the throttle but it doesn't make a difference. But I can push the brake pedal down kinda hard and this will load the engine enough to bring it back down to normal. My old Chevy used to do this but it was the advance weights in the distributor sticking. Not sure what causes this on my Dodge, couldn't seem to find the distributor, lol.
I'm not showing any codes. Any ideas? Thanks, Will
