I'm experiencing some sort of sticking when slowing down after cruising. When I come to a stop the engine is running at about 1200 rpm. I shift into neutral and bump the accelerator and it goes back to the normal 800 (or so) rpm range. It won't do it driving around town, only after cruising. I have the recall throttle cable with the housing. I don't think it's the throttle cable, but I don't know. I haven't checked the service manual yet to see how the cruise works on this rig. What is most likely my problem? Thanks.

Are you saying it only sticks after using the cruise control? If so check the cable from the cruise servo under the drivers side battery. It goes from there back almost to the firewall then curves forward to the injection pump. The cable can get frayed at the pump end and cause it to stick. More likely battery acid may have corroded the cable end or servo under the battery. If you need a new servo dealer has them for around $35. Next time you replace batteries use Optimas so you don't have to deal with this again.
