I have a problem with the steering wheel being sticky. I have cleaned it with numerious cleaners, but it still ends up with a sticky feel to the leather. Any suggestions???

Mine was the same way, and I stopped cleaning it, no more sticky. The leather seems to be like a golf glove or a batting glove, when clean it is very tacky feeling. Some leather conditioner will take the tack off it, the same stuff you would use for leather seats or a jacket even.

One problem is using cleaners on it. Only use something made for leather or it will start to peel.

Plus grease on your hands, or even the oils in your hands (which have salt) are hard on the leather cover.

I use Mothers cleaner and conditioner. Others here have something else they like (forget the name).

Takes one to know one, of course. ;) And how much $ we talkin' for pics?:p

Have you thought about replacing it with a factory steering wheel. I am curious as to how that is done, if there are special tools needed, or if it is a straight forward installation. Also, can you buy just the wheel part, or do you have to buy the air bag "container" as well?? Any help, or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Replacing the factory steering wheel is not a big deal. You will how ever need a steering wheel puller. No the air bag does not come with a new wheel, just reuse the one you've got.
