I was being serious here ... .....

I figured the transmission stuff had simmered down and/or could be put in the forum rules. The civility stuff could be put in there as well.

I assumed that the 2 ebrake stickies could be combined into a FAQ deal, but helicopter dan says it needs to be on going. The FAQ could be updated  There has been no new news there for ages.

The temp moderator is there to let everyone know who the current moderator is, according to the current moderator.

Heck, it was just an idea to free up the 1st five threads

Freeing up thread space is a great idea.

Having half a page of stickies in my opinion is not.

The exhaust brake discussion can be summed up with 3 words "aint gonna happen"

Sticky: 48RE + Exhaust Brake: Current Status ( 1 2 3 4 5 ... Last Page )
Jwilliams is right, Ditch this one, dodge is dragging their feet, and will never pick them up, IMO

Sticky: Civility, Please! ( 1 2 3 4 )
Sadly I agree we need this one... :(

Sticky: eBrakes are available ( 1 2 3 )
I wouldn't mind this one gone, Most of us know pacbrake, banks, and jacobs make an exh. brake for our trucks --

Sticky: Fill in moderator for a little while
I'm cool with letting this one go, I know there is a fill-in mod, and that ok with me.

Sticky: *** Transmission threads - new policy, please read ***
I say keep this one, you never know when "those" ugly threads will pop back up, and heck it sure is nice without people argueing about transmission parts they do not own

There you have it, down to two stickys :)

I've cleaned them up. You guys can help when people post some of those questions (which will happen) by pointing them to those threads. The civility and transmission thread posts are still needed.

once again proving this site rocks

Maybe can you put links to those threads you "unstickied" in the FAQ 3rd gen forum? That would be an easy way to always find them...

I know I use the FAQ a ton to find the diagnostic codes
