Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Last night while plowing nearly 18 hours straight ,out of the blue the steering required much more effort to turn. It was like it had no power assist. When I gave the engine some gas it seemed a little better but not much. I thought maybe I blew a steering hose, but that was not the case,in fact there was no leakage at all,and the fluid level was in the normal range. Im running the valvoline semi synthetic,and have not had any previous problems. I recently went thru the entire front end replacing everthing including a 3 turn steering box,cleaned out the screen in the ps pump,again never experienced anything like this. Today in the morning after starting the truck it was very hard to turn,then after a few minutes it loosend up,but not like it was previously. Anyone have any suggestions on what it might be?
