Still can't figure out exhaust brake.

Hi, I'm still having trouble figuring out how to handle this exhaust brake thing. Couldn't find the answer at dieseltrans.com, although it's a great site.

The guys at the dealership say they don't know the answer. Does a 48 RE transmission need added protection in a '05 Dodge diesel with a Banks or BD exhaust brake?



Much appreciate any advice.

I believe that the 48RE transmission is still not exhaust brake cerified. for one or more issues.
