Be careful on which part.

Be careful on which part. The part I need retails for 575. 00, I have found internet pricing for about $75 less, but the availability is not good. (more downtime). I doubt we are talking about the same part #. I understand there are a few different ones.

The module is easy to replace, but still has to be programmed by the dealer on their equipment. My part # is 56029032AB. What is your part #??? I sure hope I am not getting ripped on this part!!! I have checked around quite a bit on the internet and the best I can find is about 485. 00 for the module, but too long of a wait. Let me know, let's compare.

MBurke, do your self a favor and don't put in synchic break fluid (Dot 5) It is not compatible with the others (Dot 3 & 4). This is the voice of experience speaking. I thought I had all the old fluid out of my 1500 Goldwing (Dot 4). Within miles the rear brakes no longer worked. I got to rebuild the mastercylinder and the rear wheel cylinder.

Used Sythetic DOT 3&4

Bart, thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a real mess. I used Valvoline synthetic DOT 3&4 brake fluid. But, if DOT 5 had been on the shelf, I very well may have grabbed it.
