I just installed new Glacier Pump and still have THE PROBLEM. . No power on any kind of upgrade. It holds 14 psi on fuel pressure gauge in driveway and drops to 10 psi at 2800 rpm. Driving on near flat the rpm's come up but there is NO power to pull it's own weight. The puel pressure drops to 3 to 5 psi and fluctuates a moment then comes back up. I'm stumped! Big problem with working in single digit temps to get it going. Appreciate any suggestions! Gate valve or some sensor/relay prob?

Did you see if it had any codes?

I believe the vp44 has a built in overflow valve you mite have to have the vp44 bench tested.

I had 88 ford van that would loose power on hills ford replaced three things one was the computer the second was the cat the third I don't remember.

So you need to look at ECM and cat if you have one.

Map sensor I understand can cause problems.

That's all I can think of now.

check to see if the wastegate is stuck closed... . if it is than it will de-fuel and you will see low power

and check and replace the MAP sensor and IAT
