Still waiting for my 06 truck

I ordered It Feb. 22 and they said 5 weeks. I said the best would be 8 weeks In my mind. The print out says May 2????I did not order the Jake brake. I baby my truck anyway and never needed one. When or If It comes In the first thing I am doing Is letting the wife drive It home to get her off my back about getting the 6 speed on the 04. She hates It because It shifts a little hard. And It does at times. Any of you got there truck that ordered It IN Feb or later?I have got all the goodies off the 04. Should have switch the engine with the 95 putting the 12 valve In the 04. Might not go over to well?Though about It. Might not be legal?I got a new dog a female Corgi that was taken away from a family. They had 15 Corgi's. Don't know the reason but we sure do love the one we have. She got us twisted around her little paw. I better go now brain starting to smoke a bit. Here apicture of the heard of dogs we have. They all are rescue dogs but we teach Obedience. I work with them all the time. They mind very well. It blows people mind on how well they behave.

First they build it in mexico, then put it on a train that goes south East about 1000 miles to the boat docks in Mexico. then they load it onto a boat that takes it to baltimore. It clears customes in Baltimore, then is loaded onto a truck that takes it to the dealer.



I ordered Oct 21, picked it up March 5th. (in SE PA). They had mine built within 3 weeks of being ordered, but then it was shipped to storage (no idea why).



If you ordered a mega cab, it may be closer to 8 weeks unless things have changed in the last 2 months.

Dealer seems to think June... I hope I can still get an '06--his next allocation is next week, so the factory won't get my order till then.

Mine Is not comming by boat. I have the print out and It Is by rail to Texas then to Ill. then to Buffalo, Ny by rail then to Dealer on May 2. We will see. It Is a 4 door short bed no mega cab. Don't need that. Its a diesel automatic loaded.

Mega Cab order

I placed an order for a MegaCAb on Apr 07 and as yet it is not even being built. The word from the dealer was that it would move onto the build state the first week of May. If I end not getting a 06 Iam going to be ****** :{

I just got mine up here in Allentown, and mine made in MI...

I have a funny question for you guys... . are the trucks that the dealers have in stock just very limited? Here on the western slope of Colorado, the dodge dealers have just about EVERY variation I could imagine (ie color, options, long, short, mega, quad, auto, stick... ) I am surprised that other dealer don't pull stock from the ones that have it... just interesting... .

We order what they don't have

The dealer here order's 4 wheel drives only. Two wheel drive are scarce. I just don't need a 4by4.

I have always had a 4x4. My Dad never had one - always 2x's, when rainwater flooded or snow hit, his truck was useless because of the big hp engines. I look at the cost addition of the 4x stuff like many would look at an extended warranty. The first time you need it and don't have it - it would have been worth the money. Since the extended warranty can be purchased up until your regular warranty expires, it is a smarter deal to just invest in the 4x4. Our dealers here in Ruidoso NM and Hobbs NM have both 2x's and 4x's in stock with a variety of colors and options of the 2006 models. Might benefit you to consider a trip to get a truck - most dealers will give good deals to those from out of town because they consider your costs to get to them.

I ordered mine on the 22nd. of feb. also and they called the other day and said it has a ship date of may the 15th. They said it will ship on the 15th and will be here anywhere from the 1st to the middle of june. Aint that some stupid stuff!

Sounds like mine will be built with yours,and as far as ordering a truck. I looked all over the tri state area,nj ny pa and there was not a fully loaded inferno red to be found. I am not paying 49000. 00 and not getting what I want

Ordered mine Jan 24th, was built March 23rd, hit Toronto last week and is now heading to Montreal then Rock-Island. I'm expecting it this weekend

We ordered her '06 3/28, and were VERY suprised to get the VIN 2 weeks later... . and that was the last thing we heard. Dont know if its actually been built yet, just hoping that no one is out to lunch down there in Saltillo. She has been anxious from the day after we ordered it (all I hear is I WANT MY TRUCK!)... ... . and its not smart to keep a girl from Texas waiting on her Pickup :-laf
