Anyone know a source for the stock, 4 bolt towing mirrors? The dealer doesn't carry them anymore... and I haven't found a set locally (junkyards) or online (new)... I'm getting ready to start calling places from Car-Part.com.

West Coast mirror is the company that made most of the mirrors... They do sell them in the aftermarket also... you should be able to find them on the net or in the Thomas Register

Yup, ;long time ago, too, GL. I had asked him a year ago about them. I finally found some a guy wanted to trade for my power mirrors, and we have a deal worked out. YOU CANT HAVE EM!!! ;) After driving with some aftermarkets for 3 years, I still havent gotten used to the puny power mirrors. It doesnt help that I have a flatbed, too.

Yeah, I have a flatbed on the truck and a 28' enclosed gooseneck to pull to WA... and just the 6x9 close-in, manual mirrors. I don't mind manual... but they MUST be farther out.

Not having any luck finding the stock style ones... lots of 7" x 16" bus mirrors. Got any more info on this company? I'm not having any luck finding a web site for them, either.

I was just in a truck yard in Warsaw IN. There was the remains of a 1st gen with the 4 leg tow mirrors on it. It was a stretched 90 something D350.

I didn't have a set of torx bits in my bag or they would have came home with me.

The name of the yard is Gill's auto and truck salvage.

Here is a good site with some 3 and 4 leg tow mirrors. They also have longer arms and heated mirror heads listed.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I have the same mirrors you're talking about. Check mine out in the readers rigs section. I just recently was able to get new mirrors, without the brackets, from Truck Lite. The mirror heads are just the same as stock and are well made. I think they were about $31. 00 each. I believe they have the brackets to go with them also. I hope this helps.

Having just been side-swiped, I now need the factory manual 7 x 10 tow mirror WITH THE 4 POINT BRACKETS for the DRIVER'S SIDE. KELDOG - does your brother-in-law still have what I need? Anyone else know where I can get these brackets?

Please email me at bilnfay at ix dot netcom dot com.
