The Edge has the TST hands down on bottom end torque. The TST fuels via boost so at very low RPM if you can't generate much boost it won't give you much fuel. The Edge seems to come on smoother and MUCH sooner than the TST. For towing and a mildly bombed truck I would go with the Juice. I like my TST a lot since it's finally working properly but again, for a mild truck and tow rig the Juice is much smoother and nicer to drive.

I believe that the Catcher just improves drivability with a small increase in hp. If you want a cheap programmer the Bullydog sure is a nice driving unit.

I thought I told you how to fix that :-laf

You did, you did. :D

For the first time in a year it's working correctly and code free. I almost afraid to touch anything... :-laf

As soon as I get the W/M installed I'm going to make a loop of the area dynos. At least hit Dynomite and Piers. Any others worth hitting in the NW that I don't know about?

Meridian Motorsports (near Boise) has a Dynojet, a little smaller than DDP. Reads very similar, slightly higher.

Fast Specialties, Vancouver Washington has a Mustang but if you're hitting Piers' there's not much benifit to coming down this far.

Nope, no secret squirrel society here. I fought the TST code and drivability issues for an entire year. Through some testing I came to the conclusion (right or wrong) that my ECM may be corrupt. I'm not big on downloaders but I figured if I was looking at a new ECM anyway I might as well give it a try. I bought a used PP and loaded the performance setting. Re-installed one of the problematic TST's that was on the bench and "BINGO", zero code issues and no more drivability issues at all. So I'm back to being able to run "full fuel" again and I could'nt be happier.

The mod that Scott is speaking of just allows full fuel at zero boost. I don't need it just now but I've added it to my TST mod archives for later testing.

Nothing quite like sitting at the stop light with the TST reading 44 psi ALL THE TIME, Even look at the throttle cross-eyed and the truck smokes ;)

Not that I'd know, I think smokey trucks are bad, haha

Smoke is bad for our reputation. Be good kids. That mod was intended to smooth out the power, nothing more. Sometimes we have to step up and deal with the side affects. Don't beleive me? Listen to the quite quick talker at the end of the all the drug commercials ;)

Scott,

I agree 100%. I have a hard enough time controlling the smoke with the TST/BDPP stack when the boost comes on. That's exactly why I've left it for a later date. We don't need anymore help in the "bad image" department. Can't thank you enough for the info though.
