Stock air intake question

I'm putting my stock air intake back on for awhile, no reason, just to change it up for a bit. While assembling it I noticed that the tube that goes between the turbo elbow and the filter box elbow has two arrows at one end and one at the other. They aren't pointing the same direction so it's not an air flow indicator. Any ideas?

Alignment marks... to make sure its installed in a particular orientation.

After reading steved's reply I went and took a closer look. On the turbo elbow there are two little nubs sticking up that match the arrows perfectly, and one on the other elbow. Thanks for the help.
