Stock boost for a 93 auto 4x4?

Just wondering... . I threw a boost guage(autometer) on today and was getting 12-14 psi empty, full throttle, stock. Normal? Thanks

Yep that's normal boost for a stock truck like yours My '93 ran just about the same when it WAS stock :-laf

How do you still get away with the stock converter? I'm a thinkin I laid some fins flat on mine-going to change it out soon! As I'm not getting the RWH and fluid heats up some and engine exhaust temps are up lately-but running a/c and its hot here in AZ!
