Shawn,
I've got a 98. 4 2500 4x4, 5 spd, 3. 54 lsd, 275 rv injectors, PE EZ.
I haven't had any problems with clutch slippage so far, but then I haven't revved up the engine and popped the clutch to see what happens.
I also pull trailers pretty frequently with various loads (antique tractors/engines/Bobcat/etc. ) and haven't had any clutch slippage problems.
One variable which might make a difference is tire size. I'd think that if you had monster truck size tires that it would increase the chance of clutch slippage.
I just dropped down a size in tires this past week and am now running 265r75 tires instead of the 285r75 tires I've been running the past couple of years. I've got over 5k miles with the EZ and injectors with the 285 tires without clutch slippage.
I dropped down to the 265 tires (still bigger than the stock 245's) as an experiment to see if my mileage improves. Plus I think the smaller tires will increase the chances of my clutch continuing to hold without slipping.
