Just wondering what kind of milage everyone is getting out of the stock clutch on a stock engine. I understand driving habits and loads carried greatly affects clutch life. Just looking for a ballpark figure.
Mine has 130,000 one it and it is totally gone. It slips in every gear with just a tap of the old skinny pedal. Luckly I have a new 13" Con FE in the living room I will be installing this weekend.
I had to replace mine at 130k because of a bad rear main seal on the motor. The clutch disk had more than 1/2 of the life left yet, just soaked with oil. :{
Mine has 140,000 on it and is still OK, although I have felt it slip twice. I have heard of the stocker lasting close to 200,000 if your good to it and keep power close to stock.
just put the new injectors and B1 on a few days ago, mines slipping like crazy,(80,000 miles) have a ton of unusable power now. time to go clutch shopping..... it never ends... .
