stock dodge tach?

i used a 6bt flywheel,and bellhousing and adapter. im tach stupid. does dodge use any of this for a tach pickup? my transmission comes out on wed to asses damage, and i guess i need to add the stuff to drive a tach at this point... anyone?

The 12V has a tach pickup mounted on the timing cover, triggered by 2 large notches in the balancer. I'm going to try and adapt that to drive my OEM V8 tach, after the signal is translating, using a www.dakotadigital.com convertor.



If that doesn't work out, then Isspro makes a 1989-1993 magnetic pickup kit that bolts on, using magnets bonded to the balancer - I used their system with great success on a 6. 2L GM diesel.
