Yeah good luck with your CAT you will be amazed how loose they are installed by the manufacturer. As far as EGT's I noticed some improvements based upon the CAT test pipe and a less restrictive muffler vs. factory. Again I used the "walker" muffler which is a muffler I have used on my past trucks. Note: I left the factory resonator on the truck which is located in the back of the truck ... typcally found on the mega-cabs and long-bed trucks. As far as drone is concerned I have a little but its when I am pulling some serious weight and at full throttle. You wont notice the drone empty. I do think my drone is based upon the fact that my truck is a long-bed chassis eventhough its a mega-cab. My past trucks were all short-beds of which I had the same exhaust configuration and had zero drone. Good luck with your research ..... let me know what you decide to do.
