Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Stock Exhaust

Thinking about a few "performance enhancements". How much power can you push through a stock exhaust? What's the limit before you HAVE TO go to a 4"?

I have read here that the stocker is good for up to 300hp. I put a 4" on my stock truck and I sure like it. I think it is more the sound than the performance that us "SICKOS" likeOo. Chris

I agree with Motorhead. The Magnaflow is GREAT, plus the folks at Magnaflow claim around 10 hp and 40 lbs/ft of torque with their system. Take the plunge -- you'll be glad you did !

About 360hp before a 4" becomes a need.

Me and a Friend just put the 4in magnaflow on Bosses 3500 CC AT 4x4 I think it is GREAT, looks and sounds, and more power on the lower end.
