Is there any advantage of moving the stock fuel plate, and adjusting the star wheel. I just want to see what it will do, if any, before I go with #8 TST plate and spring kit. All I have done so far is rebuild transmission twice, remove muffler and gut cat, remove Silencer ring. Just looking for alittel more power right now. . Thanks, Marc

Gosh don't get these guys started again! ... ... . :-laf

No really, don't bother just wait till you put the plate and spring kit in. :D

Do gauges first then you can see that the #8 gives you more useable power while sliding the stock plate gives you high egts.

k&n, gutted cat, flow through muffler, stock plate full forward, wastegate disabled... i'm only seeing 1100* absolute max on egts. it's probably a little less now that i just put the flow through muffler on (haven't really pushed the truck to see). you can try it, but you'll be pushing the limits of a stock auto transmission (just don't ease into the throttle in OD from 45-55).
