Stock Grill - How $$$

Any idea how much a stock grill can be had for? Have to be excellent shape if used / of course mint if new. In the market soon. Mine is cracked along the vertical mounts, all 4 tabs. Won't be long now - not real keen on the sweet tooth @ Geno's. Depends on the bucks.

I recently bought a sport grill for my truck and it was ~$400 - don't remember exactly. That was brand new from the dealer. I just looked at an estimate I had and the chrome grill according to State Farm is $243.

I keep meaning to order a new grill after an encounter with a chrome deer (shopping trolley) in the local grocery store lot last winter.

I purchased a factory chrome grill, then decided to go the painted route. I'll have to dig it out but would sell it if you need it. The aftermarket grilles are less expensive, most do not have the rams head emblem but a blank spot to install one. My first aftermarket painted grill fit so badly I couldn't use it. The second one fit pretty well... ... ... ... ... ... Larry

I think MrGrill is the guy I bought one from on eBay a couple of months ago. I think it was only $36. 00 +shipping, and it's a dead ringer for the factory original. The chrome was starting to bubble in several places on mine. This new grill is yet to be installed, and it's missing the Ram insignia on the top center, but has the indentation for it, and it can be ordered from the dealer & I think it has that adheseve tape backing. I might even try to re-use the one on my original grill. This new grill even has the honeycomb stuff too, an exact copy, or left over shelf stock, who knows, the price was right. Wish I had bought several.

I cought a piece of re-tread tire in the honey-comb part of my grill and bought the billet grill from Genos.

Not a very good fit. I had to put small angle iron on the outside edges to make it fit. PITA!!!!
