Anyone have a set of four power wagons laying around? I need to upgrade my '86 4BTA with a finer spray injector with maybe 5 or 6 holes. I have stock KDAL 59P2's with a four hole 6446 tip in it right now.
Talk to a Bosch shop- they can put just about any tip in it you want. I think the stock 6 holers would have the finest spray, but soem reported when the PWs were big that they gained a few MPGs with them. Do a search, and what applies to the 6B should cross over to the 4B.
You hit it on the head. I'm o. k. with power but not at the loss of the economy I'm trying to make my first priority.
Were the mpg gains in 1st gen. VE or possibly P7100. When I read postings I'm not always sure when they are talking about VE's or P7100's.
Do you know what the Bosch 190 has for hole pattern? I've been wondering if there's a way to interpret the Bosch #'s on the injectors to see if the 190's for example have spring as well as tip changes. Tip geometry can also change from what I see in my Bosch VE Tech booklet.
I see Piers sells the Bosch 190. Can you suggest some Bosch shops that know what can be swapped on an injector?
