Stock muffler replacement

I want to keep my stock exhaust plumbing and just replace the stock muffler on my '03 with a "straight thru" design, stainless steel muffler. Can anyone out there in TDR land suggest a vendor who has such a muffler in stock ready to go and fits without changing anything but the stock "double pass" muffler. Thanks!

Donaldson Muffler

I bought the Donaldson Muffler Part #M085171 at my local Freightliner Dealer. 4"in and out straight through 40" long about 9" round $50. 00 sounds good. You do need to have a muffler shop do a little modification due to it being a straight through.

It has a more deep sound. Kind of like my 2001 when they had the resonator and muffler and I removed just the muffler but deeper. It is a big muffler unlike the small spiral mufflers. But it is straight through. For $50. 00 that is cheap enough to try one if you are in good with a muffler shop.
