Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) stock plate slid EGT results...

Well I finally drilled and tapped the manifold for the pryo tonight I used Piers guide and took my time and removed all of the tap shavings etc, and took it for a spin and was suprised to see that from a dead stop to around 100-110mph I can hit 1400 degrees with just the stock plate slid forward... boost is around 30ish psi. . granted it probably took me a mile to get up there its still suprising to see that high of a temp. .

For those who have slid there stocker I'd recomend a set of gauges. . If I was towing a trailer and hot rodding around it probably could of hit 1600+

Have you adjusted your timing? My EGT's came down about 150 degrees, post turbo instead of in the manifold. I would think you could get at least as much, and maybe some more power.

Timing is on my list of things to worry about...

Clutch slips HARD when you accelerate hard and shift into 4th though... . thats my top priority right now!!!

My buddy with an 04 with banks six gun walked away from me tonight due to my slipping clutch..... gotta get that addressed asap.
