Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) stock turbo?

hey guy's

i have been an owner of a 97" 12 valve for about three years but i have just recently purchased a 01" 6 speed i was wondering what is the difference in the turbos in these years i've seen some guy's say the have but a hx 40 from the 12 valve on there 24 valve whats the turbo on the 24 valve and the difference? Any help would be awesome thanks guy's.

Very similiar turbos on both trucks,Hx-35/12 the wastegate actuator may mount different direction.
