Stock Turbo?

Tryin' to figure out what's stock/what's not on my new (to me) CTD!



My turbo is a Holset HX35W. Is this the stock unit for a 98 12v?

What the heck is up with that??!! I thought I had an HX-35.....

The H1C was installed on 89-93 models, then the wastegated WH1C was briefly installed on early 1994 models (built before Jan 1 1994). HoleshotHolset, you must have one of the early versions. Don't worry, my truck has one too.

Just a quick question... How much difference is there between the WH1C and the HX35?



I have the H1C on my truck. (First Gen)

I guess I got me an early '94 then.....

I can't complain about the WH1C-with wastegate... seems to work okay... . no boost gauge to tell me otherwise, though.

160k miles and no endplay (thrust) on the CHRA..... so far, so good... .
