2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Stock Wheel B/s

i know i am just being lazy but does anyone know what the stock back space is on a 2001 2500. i have the alum. wheels now but i want to upgrade to 17". does anyone know what backspace will work on my truck in a 9" rim. i am thinking of going with a 8" rim just to make sure the tire stays as far under the fender as possible. i plan to run a 37x12. 5x17..... any sugestions would be great!!!!!!!!!!

How about a set of stock 3rd gen wheels? 17x8 with the correct backspacing.



I happen to know where there is a set of takeoffs.
