I'd really appreciate everyone to be on the lookout for my baby. Its an 05' light almond(goldish), 3500 quad cab, with a ranchhand brushguard(black) 5" exhaust with 6" tip cow bell on the spare tire. Its got the aluminum 17" wheels, and camo seat covers in the front.

If you spot it call the cops immediatly,

It was locked up and there was no glass in the lot so I'm not sure how they got in.

I appreciate any help anybody can give me.

Cliff;
Sorry for your loss. I will certainly keep my eyes open... but your truck is probably down running across the border hauling illegals and dope by now. Our type trucks are becoming increasingly targeted for that type of activity, more so closer to the border. You are not close but just hypothesizing. I know it is kind of after the fact and all cause your ''baby'' is gone... . but I invested in a 'Ravelco' anti theft device and it gives me great peace of mind knowing my 'baby' will be where I parked her when I get back to her. They might break a window or jimmy the door lock and mess up my steering columb but they will NOT be driving my truck away for sure. Look it up on the web. consider the 'ravelco' for your next truck. You will be glad you did. Nuff said and good luck. I hope you recover 'baby'. Ravelco Anti Theft Device

If it was stolen this morning I doubt it's in Mexico yet. Maybe on the way, but it takes 8-9 hours to get from Kansas City to North Texas, and another 8 hours minimum to get to the border. If it's inside a semi van it would be longer. I'd be thinking chop shop. If you had it in the shop for repairs recently I'd suggest going into Jim Rockford mode and start there. Keys are easy to make. Don't discount the Mexican angle, though. You might call the Border Patrol and give them the VIN and other information just in case. I'd also notify the cops in Kansas City-- on both sides of the river to be on the lookout for it.

Friend of mine had his Suburban ripped off. It was gone for three weeks. Found it stripped in a local mall parking lot. Inside they found identification from someone who had an Anglo name, not an illegal Mexican.

So maybe someone needed some parts. Maybe even someone you know.

No visible damage to the door lock, Took the ignition apart to get it started. Cop said all total probably took about thirty seconds for him to get in and get it moving
