Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) stop light no go

:{ here it is. wot thru 3rd and 4th around 3600rpm stop light coming up push in clutch kick it out of gear coast to light. When light turns green try and drop it in 2nd then any gear no go. shut truck off put it in 2nd pushed clutch in started truck rolled a little but not like the clutch wasent working. pull away go antoher two blocks to house seems to be working fine any ideas??? thanks for any input.

could be apps, mine did the same thing a few days ago while pulling out of my street. i hope it does not happen at the wrong time & end up getting hit by oncomming traffic. i unhooked my batteries for 30 minutes hooked them back up turned the key but did not start it, pushed the acc. pedal slowly to floor & back up. i have not had it happen again or set any codes again, YET. good luck

I don't know if this will help ya any but..... Did you leave off the throttle at 3600 rpm or there abouts? Maybe bark the turbo when you let off? I have heard of people leaving off the throttle to quickly at a high rpm and then getting air in the lines. Supposedly the pressure somehow in the cylinders have to go somewhere when you let off the throttle, and it gets back into you fuel lines . I cant find the thread right now but was within the last 3-5 days in another post.

That's happened to me in 3rd, as i was turning on to the highway!

it wouldn't go into third! i made go because of all of the traffic.

after that it smoothed out and has been fine since.
