straight pipe questions

[turbo lcc]

I put a straight pipe on my truck the weekend and love the way it sounds. My question is, is there anything that I need to watchout for. I was told that this could damage the turbo. . is this true?

No it isn't true, you don't need to worry about anything. I've been straight piped for over 40,000 miles no prob.

How much noise difference is there in the Cab? I want to straight pipe but I'm worried about getting too much noise for long drives.

I have a straight pipe on my gasser and it causes interference with the bass on the radio... pretty annoying when you're not trying to hot rod!

and in cab noise is so low you have to ride around with your passanger side window down.
No realy it's not bad. Don't even compare to gasser.
