straight pipe

straight piped truck yesterday sounds good,but not like my 01 with straight pipe or the 5 inch dual stacks is that because the 3rd gens or so quiet?

I believe it has alot to do with these new engines having different injection events as opposed to the later years. The CR engines sound good and all. But thats the ONE thing Im jealous of over the older engines. They just dont sound like they used to.
