Before you guys get mad ay me for asking a question that probably does not belong here, I personnaly prefer my 12-valve. But my friend just got rid of his 12-valve '94 and purchased a '99 (I hate to admit) 24-valve. The question is does removing the muffler void the warranty.

Maybe yes, maybe no, It depends on the dealer you use.

------------------
1997 2500 Ext Cab 4X4,5 spd,3. 54's,Pac brake,Rancho 9000's,Centerforce clutch,K&N airfilter,Missing Cat,Isspro gauges,and #11plate(280hp/680tq)AFC medium spring

When I bought my 95 brand new, the dealer told me I could do anything I wanted to the exhaust... just dont mess with the Cat... . so I got out the Sawzall.....

But the cat is the most important thing to remove. 24 vers don't need to worry about cats, and most 12vs are about out of warranty by now. Lose the cat.
