Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) straight pipe

I have a "Banks" system with 4" exhaust. It went together really nice, and I would like to replace the muffler with a straight pipe without cutting anything up!. does anyone know of a slip on pipe that would fit in place of my "Banks" muffler?

Can you DO that in your country--er state?



3" is a big as most automotive muffler shops can handle. I'd try the big rig shops.

I had banks make me a replacement straight pipe in place of my muffler cost me very little money. Give them a call you be glad you did

Muffler delete pipe

We have sold a number of our muffler delete pipes to Banks customers what wanted better flow etc. It's 30 inches overall with expansions at each end to slip in place of the muffler. We have them in aluminized and T-304 stainless steel, call us if we can help.

For what it's worth, I live in northen Kalifornia, near Sacramento. I have the 4" Jardine Pinnacle Performance aluminized steel exhaust. I removed the muffler in April 2002. I called Jardine and asked if they would sell me a straight section. They sent me a 30" long section belled at both ends, as other have already described, went on nicely. Total cost was: $20 for section of pipe $10 to ship from Wyoming to me. $30 ==



Oh, and then I sold my muffler to a TDR member in Salt Lake area for $75, so it actually cost me -$45 :-laf
