I got the 1st gen straight piped on Wednesday. I love it. It was about 40 degrees and I drove all the way home with the right window down. You should've seen the smile on my son's face when he came out in the garage when I got home and it was still running. Priceless. Now if I can get it to be able to smoke like a train...

you mean these things origionally had mufflers on them ? :)

Mine was done when I bought it. The night I drove it home I had to to down a street with buildings close on both sides, tunnels are cool I found out while in colorado!

That's why I'm stacked. Hearing that turbo whine through that stright piped dual stakes at idle and the sound taking off; priceless

not to metion this is my 4th and final exhaust, I have very, very little drone, compared to my Magnaflow and the other straight through muffles I've had.

Mine isn't straight piped. My work has me in downtown Richmond, Va at 0500. I love driving down the very narrow streets with mercedes and beemers on both sides. The only sound sweeter than the turbo is the sound of car alarms going off behind me, like the wake of a boat.

It's also fun to start up in a parking lot next to a car alarm. It will usually set them off there too.

Lets see I did mine a couple of days ago... with a 4" kit from big exhaust. . all I can say is ohhh ya... . wish I had done it sooner... . a little loud and if you load it down real hard it really has a drone.

BTW if you havent changed out the stock exhaust on a first Gen 4X4 . . all I can say is whoever designed the factory system needs to be shot... especially where it goes arround the transfer case and over the rear axle...
