Warning to grave-robbing bigamists

Which 5th wheel hitch should I buy?

The kid and I went to Louisville today to the biggest annual indoor boat and RV show in about a nine state area... Fired up the truck after the show, getting ready to leave for home, and the straight exhaust set off warning beeps in the car next to us. I revved it again (didn't hear the warning beeps, the kid did, though #ad
) and it went NUTS! Kid said it sounded like he had 3 different sirens, a wolf whistle, and a horn playing "Dixie" all hooked up to the alarm. We hauled outa there P. D. Q. We were the center of attention all the way to the parking lot exit... . I can't believe how much noise seems to come my way, when I'm not even trying. This was the THIRD car alarm I've set off, since getting the new exhaust. It's hilarious. Some of these people out there got the alarm sensitivity levels set so low, a flatulent sparrow could set it off !

Go see a fireworks show on the 4th of July. It sorta ruins the whole thing listening to all the honks and beeps and etc.

Whats a car alarm? Man I live in the sticks!

I set em off with my 72 Dart fairly often. Subaru Outbacks seem particularly vulnerable.

I lit mine off in a parking lot the other day and a Honda's alarm went nuts. It would not have been so bad if it wasn't the fact that I was in a church parking lot. . #ad

Great thread!!! Though I was the only deranged (sp) individual who enjoyed this past time. I work in downtown Houston and park in a parking garage. Anything above a idle and off they go. On early fridays (leave at 2:00) I purposly park at about level 6 and joyoiusly make my way to the exit with screeching horns in my wake!!!!!!

Oh, man! I can't wait to get my new exhsust system. I was set on a 4" straight piped system, but in scrounging through the garage this weekend, I happened to think about what the visual differences between a 4" and 5" would be. Well, I happened to find a 4" and a 5" coffee can, and when I compared them side by side, well I think 5" it *has* to be #ad

Anyway, about a month ago I fired off Godzilla in a Red Robin (burger joint) parking lot. Was right next to a minivan, no other cars for several spaces, and the minivan alarm went nuts. And that was with a stock exhaust in the wide open air! Oooohhh, I am gonna love a massive straight piped system and what it will do to those yuppie car alarms #ad

Of all things, I did it to myself last night... while packing up the truck on a construction site, loading up tools, ladders, etc. I had to open the door to put my clipboard in, and rather than go back inside to get the remote & key which was left in my jacket pocket, I used my second key to open the door. Unfortunately, my Grover dual air horns are wired into the original horn circuit. Boy do them things scream, it's really funny to hear (FEEL?) them running out of air, one last gasp, a weak tweet, and then you look around, lights are coming on in houses all around you... . Not my neighborhood, but I still felt really bad for the neighbors, I'll have to be careful not to do that again...
willyslover, sparrows don't have lips. Besides, bird-watching is for retirees, the ones that use PowerChokes to pull their travel trailers to Florida and Arizona. #ad

while we're talking about birds, can anybody explain to me how birds can take a flying sideways crap at 100MPH and hit the side of your truck every time? There's one of a flock near my factory that can do it, I'm on a first name basis with him. Got a Winchester doubleX shotshell with his name on it !
