Straight piping the 6.7 or muffler delete???

Well I have a buddy that has a 6. 7 and wants to make it louder... . I was thinking he should take off the muffler and cat. . Will that cause a check engine light??? Also do they make a cat/muffler delete kit???? I did search and found every one complaning about emissions crap on engines:-{}... Thanks in advance..... Wesley

Use BADP, Quality of there work is so much better. there code free kit will be out soon. Also i have had a 4"tbe and now i have 5"tbe. 5" is the way to go. also Stainless steel sounds soo much better than Alu. Steel. 5" is loud, 4" not so much

So what's going to happen to everyone who removes the DPF's that are required nowadays as far as fines etc? Isn't this the equipvalent of removing catalytic converters on cars? IE: Against some law?

has any tried using an exhaust cut out on 08 cummins. i read that they were installing on drag trucks. i wanted to know if it would cause check engine lite to come on
