Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Stranded in Michigan HELP

truck died won t start anyone no of a good shop on I 94 around exit 66 in michagan or a place i could leave for a few days . I live in mn any help would be awesome

Good luck, I'm sure if there is a member close by you will find help. It sounds like a VP44 to me. Did you try to pull the codes?

ya codes i remeber were 500,1693 i should of wrote them down i have an extra pump in the truck it happened saturday night and there was another guy running with me so i rode home with him will be back out there in a couple days to get fixed or haul home

P1693 (M) DTC Detected in PCM/ECM or DTC Detected in ECM A 9 Companion DTC9 was set in both the ECM and PCM.





Neither of these codes are your problem, I've had them for years. You will probably need to pull them with a proper scanner (smarty).
